As reported yesterday on THISIS50, rumors are running rampant that Jay-Z and Dr. Dre have collaborated for Dr. Dre’s first single off the much anticipated DETOX album.

According to the Twitter account of E! News’ Michael Yo, the legendary producer will be hooking up with one of Hip Hop’s premier artists for his first single: “Look for it this week New Jay Z and Dr Dre!!!” tweeted Yo.

Michael Yo later added that Interscope Records was “buzzing” about the as-of-now unnamed song. According to YouHeardThatNew.com, the track has been described as “up-tempo,” and is indeed intended as Detox’s first
