Antonio L.A. Reid has found himself in hot water after being accused of mishandling many of his label’s biggest projects during the last year. The Island Def Jam CEO has reportedly been facing pressure from Lucian Grainge, the new Universal Music Group CEO, following his rampant spending and the incredibly low sales ofMariah Carey and Rihanna’s recent releases. Moreover, Reid’s recent efforts to sign Jennifer Lopez (who has not had a hit  record in years) have made him the target of serious media criticism.

Reid was scheduled to answer questions  from fellow industry moguls regarding the issue at the Billboard 2010 Music & Money Symposium at the St. Regis last week but failed to make an appearance after one of his sons mysteriously fell ill. To date, Carey’s ‘Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel’ has sold just short of 500k units since it’s release in September while Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’ has only shipped 2.5 worldwide compared to the 2.6 million that her ‘Good Girl Gone Bade’ album sold in the US alone.

The Hope For Haiti Telethon brought together some of the best acts the music world has to offer in an effort to raise funds for the people of Haiti.

It was an extraordinary event that once again showed the good will we as people have towards each other in great times of need.

The event is being made available for purchase via iTunes for $7.99 with all proceeds going to Haiti Earthquake Relief.

Performers on the night were Madonna, Alicia Keys, Wyclef Jean, U2, Jay-Z, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, Shakira, Mary J Blige, Beyonce, Sting, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Hudson, Emiline Michele, Rihanna, Dave Mathews and Neil Young.

Rihanna has a crush on Megan Fox, and would love to film a lesbian scene with the ‘Transformers’ actress.

The singer was asked if she would ever consider taking on movie work in the future, to which she replied: “Hopefully – we are working on that idea right now.”

As for what kind of storylines and roles the ‘Russian Roulette’ star would take on, Rihanna revealed: “I’d love to be an assassin. Either that or a lesbian.”

“Maybe both! Hey, a gay assassin, there’s nothing hotter than that.” Ri joked. “Megan Fox would play my girlfriend – hands down. She’s yummy. She’s hot.

“All humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes. I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl.”

After a handful of photos of Rihanna in the buff were leaked online, the singer was understandably embarrassed. However, after she got over the initial embarrassment, she says that she realized it was no big deal and thinks that all women should send their boyfriend nude pics.

“If you don’t send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him. When it happened I sent my mom flowers first before I called and then she texted me – when the world is against me she’s always there supporting.”

The “Russian Roulette” singer is now comfortable being nude on the net, but says that in the initial aftermath she felt like she had lost the remaining shreds of her privacy:

“I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that and then, when that came out, I thought, ‘Oh great, so now there’s nothing they don’t know about me and my private life.’ It was humiliating and it was embarrassing.”

That being said, we can be sure that her new boyfriend is getting lots of naked pictures which may also one day end up on the web.

Chris Brown has managed to get fans mad at him again. He has went public telling Rihanna she should not be speaking about what happened.

Rihanna appeared on Good Morning America Thursday morning to talk about the beating she suffered from her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in February, delivering an emotional interview to host Diane Sawyer.

“I fell in love with that person—that’s embarrassing. That’s embarrassing that that’s the type of person that I feel in love with, so far in love, so unconditional [that] I went back.”

The singer also hinted that the pre-Grammys assault was far from an isolated incident. When Sawyer noted that women on average will accept physical abuse from a man seven times before leaving him, Rihanna shot back

“Eight or nine actually. And I don’t want that to happen…It’s completely normal to go back. You start lying to yourself. The minute the physical wounds go away, you want this thing to go away. This is a memory you don’t want to have ever again.”
